Tarpon fishing POC is soon to be on fire! Watch the weather approaching. If there's a north or calm wind during the next couple months in POC, book a trip with a tarpon guide. When you can get out on the beach side, it is amazing. My buddy Brent with Reelfly Fishing Adventures is extremely knowledgeable catching migrating fish. These fish normally are between 20 to 150 pounds. He jumped 7 fish last July and caught 2 and was back at the beach house by 2:00 pm. Pm me for more info if anyone is interested. Practice your casting with the biggest rod you have. Catching Texas tarpon on a flyrod should be on everyone's bucket list. Have fun ladies and gents!

I'll be in touch. I may hit Isla Blanca near Cancun in a couple weeks. My wife and I promised our 5 year old that we'd take her to the beach. Im going to book a day of fishing during the trip. Has anyone fished this area? If so, I would appreciate any info. Thanks in advance.
