Power Tackle Keith Comes 7'10 crankbait Rod. Best deep cranking rod I have ever used have it paired up with a 5.5:1 ratio Curado and 12lb flouro on smaller deep divers and 15lb on the bigger ones like a 10xd

Look at the Seeker stuff if you need to save a little coin and want something similar.

One that a lot of people overlook is the Megabass Orochi XX Launcher. I can count about 6-8 people that have went out and bought one after trying mine. It is one of the rods that just "feels" right. I have a few of the Orichi rods and I do like them. Not a fan of the hook keepers but I have had them modified. All MB Orochi rods no longer come with that keeper. Next time you see me at Fork remind me and you can test drive the one I have and see if you like it. Sounds good. But knowing me, I will probably buy something before then. But a man can never have enough rods.

My logic is I can sit here all day and claim its the best ever, hands down, period, nuff said, gamechanger, made of unicorn hair fibers and pixie dust but the reality is letting you try it is the best way to show how great of a rod it is. You may not like it and if so no harm, no fould but usually people are impressed with it. No need for me to #bestrodever, #destroyingbigbassrod etc......

Lew's Custom Speed Stick I recommend you try the Magnum Crankbait 3. I'm a hardcore G. Loomis guy but there's something about this rod that is just unbelievable. Maybe it's the way it's balanced, maybe it's how light and sensitive it is, maybe because it's cheaper, whatever, I just really feel like I've found the perfect deep cranking rod. I've had zero issues with this rod and I highly recommend it!

Hey Slade,
What type of line are you using? I guess I'm surprised to hear you want MORE sensitivity than the Ducket 7'6" MH graphite is giving you. 12# Invisix Floro I have a few jig/worm rods that I can feel every little branch of a bush, and I have some other pretty good ones that are good but not like the best ones I have. I don't expect the same level of sensitivity as I have with my GLX or Power Tackle rods when dragging the bottom but I know there has to be something better than what I am using. I have never used the Duckett rods. But before you go buy a new rod, try 15 lb fluoro. I can tell the difference in sensitivity on those bigger cranks with 15 lb vs a lighter line. Less stretch equals more sensitivity. JMO

Another vote for Dobyn's 806 CB. I've had one for two years now and love it for deep cranking (10XD, 8XD, and DD22). I pair it with an old Lew's BB1 with I think 3.4:1 gear ratio.

Great video, I personally use a swimbait rod for deep cranking.
I say we fish 5 days a week and work 2.
