Ray Roberts is just about normal pool. Just can't understand why the Corp doesn't close the gates just a little early in the summer. Maybe in the next few days. But fishing is good. Fish are biting all day long. Best fish for us have come in the trees. Minnows are always good. Best jig was pink 1/8 head with blue ice body.
I'm gonna have to head north for a while and do some Montana trout fishing. Crappie will still be biting when we get back I'm sure.
I'll be booking trips after August 8. See you then!!
