So. I'd turn my front graph on. It would come to the part where it says "press exit to continue"
Then when I'd press exit it would start reading for about 2 seconds, then say shutting down. Then
It would restart back to the press exit screen. Anyone else ever have this happen?
Is there a solution?

Try a soft reset.

A swift kick with the foot should fix it....if not....video of you going nuts and throwing into the lake would be cool.

My Helix units float. Don't ask me how I found out. grin

Try disconnecting the power cable from the battery and reconnecting.

How is it powered? To a wiring harness or fuse panel?. A lot of problems can be cured by running straight to the battery with at least 16 gauge wire. A lot of factory fuse panels and harnesses do not use large enough wire to power everything that it connected to them. The newer graphs need good clean power.

Not sure. Its on a new Skeeter Fx21, and just took it out for the first time last night. Didn't really get to play much with it. Was going to mess with it tonight before heading to Fork the next few days.

If you have any map cards installed try removing them before you start it up.

You can reset defaults and try that but mine did that and I sent it in and they went through it and added all new updates for $61, that is better than paying $275 to have it done. IMO Came back ready to go. Had it back in a week. They also ask if I wanted to buy a year warranty on it. If it is new then you may have a problem.

Sounds like a low voltage issue.
