Water Clarity: 2-3 feet, Water Temp 75-78 degrees, Army Corps of Engineers gate open with no generating causing water to cool, caught a good amount of nice size largemouth bass and Kentucky bass near points of open creek channels on top water frogs and yellow magic poppers. Watch for schoolers or shad jumping and skating across the top of the water. Also, caught some on the back side of trees near calm water against the current on Zoom ultra vibe craws. Angelina River continues to produce bass during the summer time when other lakes are just too hot.

Do you mind sharing the approximate location where you were fishing. I will be staying on the river this Thursday thru Sunday. Any info is greatly appreciated.
