Well just got a conformation that those Hybrid every one is seeing on Lavon are coming from Cooper or Tawakoni. wouldn't it be cool to have Hybrid on Lavon because there is a lot less boat and jet ski traffic and more fishing

No free for alls for us this mornin. Started at Lavonia at sunrise and kicked it all around perimeter of the lake, stopping at points and smooth water to glass for boils. Found tiny bit of top action near powerplant but after 10 seconds they dissapated. Very surprised didnt spot any top schooling in 5hrs. Was really hoping to get on a feeding frenzy and follow like you were able to! Congrats!

They were boiling from 7 to 8pm last night at hybrid point. Lots of 10 to 11 inchers. But did have a triple digit catch day with DoubleDee. A dozen were magnums. Most of the magnums were roaming on to of the road bed 100 yds north of hybrid point. They were mostly suspended and move in waves. Fast jigging or burn the slabs in mid column had higher chance for magnums. Caught about ten baby crappie also. Good luck!

I believe TarponFly named that point located midway between the railroad track and little ridge point, hybrid point. South wind blows straight into there. Fyi, buddy David took his coworkers this morning. "Nonstop top water" this morning too. Use good binocs for boat shows. Lavon is not very big

Tons of dinks schooling SW of island and I mean tons. Tons of dinks at Little Ridge too. Lots of bait in cove by power plant intake and they were on the feed. We managed 7 keeper sandies and 2 nice crappie on slabs and bait.

Awesome pics and lady Lavon report, Keith! I hate to launch my boat on lavon on strong south wind days. Please open East Fork back up Mallard is a good ramp and protected. Not that far to trailer your boat around. watch out for all the pot holes in the parking lot

When the lake was low, I saw a mine field of stumps in that cove. My boat is only 5 minutes from Collin Park, 8 minutes to East Fork, and 20 to 25 minutes to Mallard.

Its kinda surrounded by willows but I was able to use it with my pontoon. The problem I have had is people fishing from it. They seem to think its a fishing dock and don't move when you need to use it. The standing timber is navigable. I know a path I can run through it but if you are not familiar it isn't far to where it breaks near the RR bridge. I wouldn't let that stop you from using that ramp.
