Ha, no way...we were out there trolling and throwing some top waters on the east side and didn't get a bump. Plenty other people seemed to be having the same experience over near Lofers as well. Go figure...hopefully they're still over that way next weekend!

Was out there for a week, all fish caught by island by dam, tough week, Gail force winds, tons of bait everywhere with very few bites. I don't know the lake well enough but they seemed to want something moving like tail hummers, cranks. Needless to say glad to be back home to PK.

We fished three days this week and caught 1 keeper striper. very few small stripers on live bait. We did manage some sandies on the top each day but it was very short lived and then they were gone. LOTS of tiny shad in their guts. Bait sized shad were very hard to find.

Caught my new personal best on Friday, caught 4 with the biggest being in the 10 lb. range. I am still trying to learn the lake since I bought a house down there. Only been on the lake 4 or 5 times so far, so I need plenty of advice.
