Well it's time to bite the bullet and replace my start battery and my two for the trolling motor. Any recommendations? Really don't want to drop $300

Everstart Maxx at Walmart best bang for the buck $

Might check water/acid level before replacing. I have seen this many times being low and they just need maintance not replacing.

For double the cost of the ever starts you can go to SAMs and get some awesome Agm batteries. I love my group 31 energizer.

And before anybody says anything there is a long history of posting items that cost way more than the op asks for. Lol

I'll second Everstart Maxx 29's, first set lasted 3.5-4 yrs, just take a voltmeter, check voltage and water level( ran into a couple of dry one on the shelf)before buying.
Also look for freshest date, the freshest date doesn't always read highest so check volts(12.65-70+)
Charge batteries after installing.
If you decide on AGM's make sure your charger will properly support them.
