I needed a rod put together and as it turned out, we have a forum member that is very capable (KVS) and is here in the metromess..
The rod started out as an 8'6 Rainshadow Blank sw1027. Very nice blank. All guides are K guides with a size 30 stripper down to a size 7 alconite tip top. Reel seat is an aluminum fuji ns7. Rear grip is spiral wrapped with xrap heat shrink. Rod was built in horned frog colors! Go Frogs!
Kevin did a hell of a job. A few tweeks to be made but that's my fault.. quality build..

Kevin made a few adjustments for me and the rod is awesome! He added some color to the reel seat and lowered the seat a little

Looks like that'll put some filets in the freezer!

I got into building my own rods this past winter. Doubt I'll be buying another store-bought rod for a long time.

Had the rod made for cobia and kings. Will also use it for tossing large jerks and tops to striper
