Sounds like most of the anglers had a great time. Turnouts seemed great. Fishing was great. I bet there is a good chance.

I'm sure I will go but that lake could probably stand a little break in fishing pressure.

If they could go at the first of March you would see some real weights. Unfortunately the pressure will only be worse next year

I hope not. Maybe the pressure will slack off a little. Although, if they come pre spawn it would be a slug fest.

It would seem kinda hypocritical if they didn't!

Yeah I think 2018 is the soonest they would return.

Not likely. Rare that they go to the same lake the following year.

It was Louisiana, not Texas. Cypress Bend Marina is on the La. side of the reservoir.

True. Was bassfest considered Oklahoma?

If so then they may actually do one in Texas.

They are doing the classic here, that not enough?

Forgot about that. Sounds like enough Texas for them to skip a year.

I believe that they will come to the Sabine River this year.

It's a shame Toledo doesn't come into play to hold a Classic, what a great lake it would be in mid February to mid March. The weights could be record setting!
