Can anyone provide any reviews on the new Mako Proskiff 17 CC?

Also, any recs on a good fish finder for bay/inshore fishing?

Thanks in advance.

I ran a skiff for years. What they do well, they do pretty good, what they do bad, they can be a bit annoying.
Good: Cheap to build. Don't need a ton of horsepower to move it along. Floats shallow, tunnel hulls can be made to run really shallow.
Not so good: Ride will beat your liver loose in rough water, so you learn to avoid it. Handle pretty sloppy too, I ran mine up on the bank of some drains more than once, they don't really turn, just slide from here to there.

So, if you're fishing flats and back lakes, good choice. If you're more of a middle of the bay guy, not so much.
