Does Lake Austin fish good that time of the year? Lake Austin is dead at the moment and has been for a while now, at least compared to what it was. So dead they quit having the Wednesday nighters out there. I doubt it'll rebound between now and then.

It may just mean those are the cities willing to pay big money to have tournaments come to town. This is what I'm thinking. FLW is chasing the money. From smaller trails (think bassChamps) all the way to the big boys,,,this.

Seems like a good thing when the FLW or BASS come to town. Travis might not have been my choice for an opener but at least it's in Texas. Seems like a win - win for all Texans.

They've been to Travis in the past. Lots of limits. As far as lake Austin, it's an afterthought at this point. I'd rather go to LBJ in February
