Anyone been on the river between Bandera and Medina Lake RV Resort. I will be staying at the RV park next week, never have fished it just wondering a bout water conditions and recommended put in/ take out areas.

We were on the river between Medina and Bandera both days this past weekend. Put in at Pleasant Valley and took out at Schmidtke Rd the first day. Did Pleasant Valley to Ranger Crossing the second day. Looked like the level had dropped a decent bit from one day to the next so don't know what it looks like now. Should still be very fishable though, may just have to drag a few places. Water was gin clear. Saw a lot of fish but were mostly small perch and bluegill. Did see a few large bass, but were very few and far between.
