As news trickles out of this year's I-Cast it is amazing to see how the sport of Kayak Fishing is evolving. This year is the year of the drive unit! That's right Hobie and Native started it and now Wilderness, Feel Free and Old Town are introducing their own take on peddle and electric motor craft. And for those of you who don't know yet - Hobie has a FULL POWER REVERSE MIRAGE DRIVE 180 ! Love the new products. But hate to see the prices going up and up. Cheaper then a boat but getting up there.

Confluence Outdoor has a great 2017 coming with the addition of the ATAK 120, Radar 115 & 135, and the Perception Pilot. I'm looking forward to trying them all out on the water

Great post and thanks to Mariner for staying on top of the latest news.
I spend most of my time in water that doesn't really lend itself to peddle style platforms.
I know I am not alone.
Paddles have been around forever, and they always will be.
