I have not been up the river in a good while. Might head out there tommorrow. I joke around and call it Tawakoni of the west. They fish really similar to me.

Been fishing Worth a lot since we got our boat this year and usually catch the numbers, but nothing north of a few lbs. we have never fished north of the 199 bridge though. For us, cranks and wakes are about all we throw- mainly because I can't force myself to throw anything else when these work.

My last two trips have yielded 21 and 26 bass. Only 4 out of the bunch were keeper sized with biggest being 4 lbs.
I've never caught that many out there before. The spawn from the last two years has been pretty good out there. I foresee great fishing in the next couple of years if the water stays up.

We've had some good days out there but never numbers quite like that.

I stunk it up out there today. Could not get on the water till 1:00Pm and fishing till about 4:30. Had a fair number of bites but not a single keeper. Could not buy a dock bite. Everything came flipping shallow cover. First time out there in a few years and was surprised at the water clarity. More visibility than I recall in the past. Loading out at the 820 bridge this afternoon was a trial in patience. Between people almost backing into my truck to people using the very middle of the ramp the real winners were out in full force.

Out of the 50 whatever bass I caught the last two trips, only 5 came off docks. The little ones are biting for sure.

I have fished this lake 3 times and found this a weird lake. Same pattern in one area will not be the same as another area. But I have yet to not catch fish. More familiar with eagle mountain but so far I am impressed.

I don't ever fish north of 199. Went up there today and only caught 1 small one. There are so many reeds it would take days to fish them all. The pads didn't produce any. IMO I didn't see anything that blew me away up there.

There are not any fish in the reeds around there. Time can be utilized better elsewhere on Lake Worth fishing the hydrilla beds midlake and on the South end

I went out to worth today from 5pm-9 and had one of the best days I've had on that lake in a long time.

I see. Makes sense as to why worth is dropping.
