Clark lake.....anywhere on it next to matter grass..using a yellow magic. Fish it for the first few hours of daylight and the last couple hours of daylight.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Not sure what's going on this year, but the topwater bite has been off over here in Louisiana as well.

These work well for me, and have been all year. Beat part is that they're cheap, too. I remove the rear hook. Just a personal preference. Like most of the replies. Early morning or late afternoon/evening. Or if it's overcast during the day. Fish around vegetation. I get alot of bites by popping a few times, then just simply deadstick it for 20 or 30 seconds. It works more often than most folks think it would.

I caught eleven largemouth from 6:00am to 8am on a pop-r this morning at Granbury. Just cruising the channels and casting under trees, near docks and walls.
