Fished lake Nacogdoches today in the howling wind and caught my new personal best. 9 pounds even according to my scales. Caught her on a Zoom ole monster, Redbug. Notice two things about the fish. 1. She is very skinny. If her body was as big as her head, she might have weighed 11 pounds. I could put both of my fist in her mouth. 2. Look at her tail, it is still tore up. No signs of blood, but still looks like a spawning tail. Anyway, I was very excited. later...don

The head is HUGE! Haha. Cool fish.
I'm always scared to hook a fish like that. Seems like odds are against you when getting a good hookset in a mouth like a pickle bucket. Lol.
