 Help...997 waypoints to a 859

Anyone ever copy WP's from a 997 then load them to a 859.. I know you have use a blank sd card prolly 2, to do it right.. I think I can manage all that using HBPC to save the File to my desk top and all..
There will be no LakeMaster card in the 859 just HB factory map and the sd card with the way points loaded.
Will that work ?
I had a live chat with HB today, I asked if I could link the 2 and was told no. I only need my waypoints on the 859.. If anyone has some tips, I'd appreciate it... Last thing I want to do, is totally blow out all waypoints..

from a 998 to a 1199 all you had to do was install a sd card, go to waypoints and choose to export. Then that would load them to sd. Turn the other unit on and insert the sd card. A message box would will pop up about loading waypoints, choose yes and then about 3 seconds it will say complete. Should be similar for 997 to 859
