Hey guys, going to be fishing Fayette tomorrow. Last few times I went, I haven't been able to find any grass. Does anyone have any leads on grass on the lake? Not asking for any specific spots, just would like to get pointed in the right direction so I can make the most out of my day. Thanks in advance.

There is a little down on the flat at the southeast end of the dam. It grows out to about 5' and does hold a few fish - especially early. Play's out when the sun comes up. They'll eat a top-water. They were there last Sunday. Good luck.

Grass isn't the key to that lake.. A good long look at a topo map and a schedule of water being released should be much more useful.

I say we fish 5 days a week and work 2.

I use a 1/2 oz trap there. Agreed, once sun is up it's over. The its off to humps and contours. I like a c-rig and t-rig. Find any debris or rocks or brush and fish slow.

Thanks for the help guys. Had a great day on the water. Caught some good fish. One off a lipless, and the rest of the fluke.
