 The lady's first flathead!!

Well after countless trips trying to bag the illusive flathead last night we got a breath of fresh air! Not the monster we were after but she didn't seem to mind one bit! She had caught the bug for flattys after about 4 missed runs over the past two trips and wanted to land her first. We had about 9poles out baited with live perch and live drum, but naturally what does this thing do? Hit our weightless ultralight setup we had out with a worm on it trying to catch perch...-__- now she's got the first out of the way she's wanting the big girls now!!   The look of accomplishment!!^^

My uncle will get some worms and sit on the Little River for hours by his favorite brush pile. He usually catches 1 flathead around 20#. Congrats on the first one.

Congrats. Biggest flatty I ever caught was on a #2 baitholder and hand dug red worms in muddy ol Denton creek. Never under estimate the power of a good red worm.
