Anyone have this kayak and can share their experience and opinion(s) regarding the Commander 120.

I've have mine since 2014 for my type of fishing I love the kayak.
I fish small power plant lakes and rivers.
I can load it up with all my gear and with the open floor plan everything is easy to reach. I can also sit side saddle like I did with my sit on top kayaks, and it's the most stable kayak I've ever owned and I've had a few.
You can also stand with ease and the captains perch also is a nice feature as well.
I just feel more secure sitting inside a boat than on top of one.
It not the slowest kayak I've paddled and it also tracks well for a 12' kayak, and what I'm most impressed with is the stability.

Super boat use mine for crappie fishing, holds everything , very stable, love the perch, light weight, tracks well, and very responsive..
The negative high sides catches a little wind, no scuppers...

If in doubt try it out..
Hope this helps

Commander 120 primary use, marshes, flats, smaller bodies of water and allow me the ability to fly fish. Would add versatility to different fishing situations since I have a Hobie for big open water and in conditions which would be less ideal for the Commander, no scuppers.

I'll go so far as to say you will end up using the Commander more than you will the hobie.

Was thinking of installing Silent Traction Pads between the tunnels to provide some noise reduction and padding for standing. Any thoughts on this product for this type of application for the Commander?

Pulled the trigger today and purchased 2015 Commander 120 in Camo. Got a good deal from a local dealer on this color, $750.00. Now to get it out on the water.

I have a commander 120 and a 140. They are great boats and I have had a lot of different ones prior. Having a commander and a Hobie is ideal IMO to cover just about any water you can think of.

That's a good price and exactly what I paid for mine. You will enjoy it!
