Downtown Mckinney was booming tonight! Plenty of people strolling through the shops and having dinner. My girlfriend and I went to a cajun place called Bayou Jacks on the South East side of the downtown and area, and I just wanted to give it a recommendation. I am in no way associated with them, just enjoyed their food and thought I would share. Very reasonable Prices, great atmosphere, and outstanding food. You can't go wrong with $8.99 Crawfish Po' Boys and $9.99 Shrimp Po' Boys. Plenty of good cold beverages to sip on the patio as the sun goes down. I highly recommend going downtown Mckinney to Try Bayou Jacks!

Bayou Jacks is good. There are so many good restaurants in downtown McKinney. Becoming a great place for foodies. Other places I really like in downtown McKinney are Sugarbacon, Bien Salsa, Harvest, Rick's Chophouse, Square Burger, and Patina Green.

Bayou Jacks is good. If you want an up-scale steak dinner try Rick's Chop House on the square. It is somewhat pricey but not anything like those high dollar steak houses in Dallas, etc, and the steak is just as good. The owner is originally from Antlers, OK, so he can't be all bad. As far as I'm concerned, the rest of the eateries on the square are "Ta-Te-Ta" places that certain females like to frequent at lunch to have social conversation, eat their crepe, and discuss the latest cruise they have been on. That's just how it is in McKinney.

I loved the Bayou Jack's that used to be by the Chuy's on W. 7th in Ft. Worth. Unfortunately a lack of parking for their location killed the business. Excellent Cajun food and reasonably priced, as well.

+1 on Harves,t me and the wife love going there. Franconia brewery has the best beer deal in own on saturdays. Go do the tour, 5 bucks and all you can drink beer. I might have to get my d.d. to drop me off this weekend for one or 5.
