After 2 very slow night trips this year we finally had a good one. We started at 8pm and at 1am we had 1 fish in the boat but from 1am - dawn we landed 19 with 10 of them between 4-5 pounds. In the first 20 min of light I caught 2 good fish on a spook and lost one in the 7lb range that jumped 3x.

The night bite is finally getting good and we plan on making a few more trips.

Good Luck

The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

Good news and congrats on sticking it out. Any insight on what's working?

...now if the wind will just lay a bit. 12" power worms and Hawg Craws in the timber and weightless Senkos in the grass have been getting the bite for me.

I think Sat. night was good because it almost stormed all night but never did. For us it's usually spinnerbaits or 10" worms and the score was 15 SB to 3 Worm and 2 on spook in the morning.

good luck

Guys appreciate the insight - PS I haven't had the SB out fish plastic at night in a long time. May have a retro summer underway.

Thanks
