Some boat dealers have a pick up service. The last I used was James in Carrolton, they do a nice job.

If the prop is worn down thin and sharp on the edges, replace it and keep it as a spare. That is what Stevecustomprops told me to do and I did. He said it would cost about as much to repair it as a new stainless one. He does give excellent service and I recommend him highly.

Thanks for the replies I am going to call Steve and look into getting a new prop for my bug.
The prop I have now I took to James since I work down the road from that place.
I need a spare. I just got the boat a few months ago.

Just a FYI Josh and Steve fixed my prop that James prop service reworked. That's why I always recommend Steve's Custom Props, mainly because I've worked with stainless steel and it can only stand just so much abuse, if you know what I mean. Then it becomes as brittle as a cracker. They will get it right the first time! If mine get's damaged again it WILL be getting a new one and the old one fixed as a get me in thing. These guys are super I would trust them first in my opinion everyone else is second. You definately get what you pay for.

it takes a special kinda prop guy to get his "clue ticket" punched... and JOSH has
definately earned it! especially as fast as he did.
Josh is doing a bang up job repairing and modifying props!!!

grassahoppa no longer. he is a true prop dude.
