Been doing some research on the different Fish and Ski sport boats on the market. Ranger Reatta, Skeeter, Nitro Z Sport and the Stratus Model. Any opinions one way of the other on any of these?

You are going to find that a fish & ski is not going to do either very well. Buy the boat for what you are going to be doing the most of or you will be back to the dealer in a year, upside down in the boat, and having a severe case of buyers remorse and wanting to trade for something you will use..

True, I stuck it out with a fish and ski for several years, finally sold the hull and trailer to a friend and kept the motor to put on a tournament model......still have it.

Give yourself a chance.
Most guys buy fish n skis to satisfy the *FAMILY* who go out twice the first year, once the second and never afterwards, meanwhile you're stuck with a boat that just doesn't fit anything very well, and a payment that'll last another ten years. I sold enough of them, and heard enough carping afterwards.

PLEASE listen to those who've walked the path.
If you really want to bass fish, get a dual console bass boat and get snap on cushions installed. It's a real fishing boat, and the maybe twice a year you put in the cushions and you're set.

OR...get a center console, rides better, handles people better, and you've got something much more useful.

Or plunge ahead, but don't say you weren't warned.

I guess I didn't realize that snap on cushions was an option on bass boats. Would that be like adding two seats to front? How does that work since ive never seen that.

Pretty simple
Upholstery shop makes cushions. Snaps install on rod lockers. Get some short hand rails installed and you're good to go.
We've done that on champs, bass cats, and skeeters.
Every single person really liked it and came back to thank us for rescuing them from a fish n ski.
