I am planning on replacing my stock reeds on my 200 EFI Merc with Boyesen two stage reeds. How hard is this and will I need to replace any additional gaskets. Thanks for any help!

Always a good idea to replace gaskets when you pull reed block and EFI module.

Not that hard. Yes you will need a new intake and reed plate gasket. And don't forget to use loctite on the little screws that hold your reeds in place.

Sorry, but if you have to ask these questions I am concerned with you attempting to change them. Blue Loctite.

I changed mine from stock to TRD reeds... look them up before you get the Boysens. You won't be disappointed!

Reeds are one of the things I would leave to an experienced wrench to change.

Carbs are much easier but this is an EFI in case you didn`t notice and thats a whole different ball of wax.

Yeah, EFI is much touchier than a carb motor. You can even get by with pookie with a carb motor, never with an efi.
