I need to run a scan on my 2003 EFI 150 to see how many hours are on it and if there are any error codes.
Anybody in the DFW mid cities area have one or know who does. BassPro said they could do it with a 5 to 6 week wait and I would have to leave my boat there meantime. That dog won't hunt.

Buy your own. Available for 399.00 and you can scan all of your friends boats and pay for it. I get 100 bucks to do a scan using this scanner: http://www.rinda.com/techmatepro/

Got my boat back and found that the 2003 merc 150 has 171 total hours. I guess it's about worn out huh?
It did have an over heat code or two that they cleared. I suspected the motor didn't have all that much use considering the cosmetics and looking like a new one. This boat originally came out of Nebraska so I guess they don't fish much up there in the cold weather.
