I took my family to the marina at Baylor yesterday for a quick outing of fishing. Ran into a friend of mine who has been talking about his 8' Pro Angler Rod. A lot! He was fishing a jig looking for Crappie (what else). He knew I had broken a couple of rods and demonstrated his by picking up my fish basket with ease. I just sent my wife an email with my birthday wish list.

I love my PA. I want one of the dock shooters.

The 4.5' and 5.5' are the only 1 piece rods. I love mine also. Jacob, the 5.5' is a pretty sweet shooter.

PA are the best bang for the buck. I have a boat full of em and I love them. Very sensitive and a lot of backbone.

I have the 4.5' dock shooter and would not recommend it. I would go with the 5.5' for more distance. I am very accurate with it, but it lacks power.

I have a mess of them PA rods, but another that stands out for me is the Southern Crappie rods. They are lighter than the PA's and more sensitive, and being made of Kevlar, just as strong. HOTFishing, sending you a PM.

Txmedic figured you'd know being you have one! It says stainless with stainless insert. Websites get outdated though. Thanks for the pic Jason.
