Hitting a stump has not been reported as cause. High speed and turning sharply causing both to be ejected was reported.

+100 I was there last Sat and saw a boater running wide open in an area that I know is full of stumps.

Hi speed should only be in the boat lanes, where this happened there is a good chance that a stump was involved or something mechanical happened.

Very sad

I will update when I hear some new information

If it was easy, everyone would do it

Sad news. A day of fishing should not end in a life taken and another life ruined.
