love mine..know going in that Lake Masters / NAvionics type chips are not compatable.

U have to have at least 1 ultra hd card to link units together no much difference in map card and preloaded maps

D-Lee: does the ultra HD card show submerged roads and such? My 73SV doesn't and was wondering if the HD card did.

I tried the Garmin HD card,..took it back, was not impressed. But I have a HB on the console with LakeMaster, thats I use as my primary GPS it shows creeks and roadbeds.

I don't think it does u may have to get the ultra hd hotspots for that and it's a bit pricey. I will pay more attention next time I'm out and let u know

I'm glad you got good customer service. I called with a question on how to link two 73sv to share way points and they said it couldn't be done. It could be done as I got info from a prostaff member on BBC and got it done. The customer service was a joke but it was a good graph.
