I'm not sure what you are looking at but the Ultrex a cable steer with electric assist. This thing is going to be on every pro's boat in the next year. I'll be waiting until the reviews come out to see if there are any issues though.

I saw some other information on it, cable steer with electric assist, that's a game changer for sure!

I saw some other information on it, cable steer with electric assist, that's a game changer for sure! steering seems sweet spot lock is awesome but man they need a new mount i have trashed my fortrex couple times

I had the bushings keep popping out on my fortrex mount,itd get all loose and junky feeling.

Just got back from Icast and got to test one.
I don't know how they did it but when you are using the foot pedal this motor handles and reacts exactly, maybe better, than a traditional foot control. But you can kick it into spot lock and route mode.
It is very impressive. Now if it had auto deploy it would perfect.

I'm wondering how it will handle the crashing into stumps on high. Ramming boat houses. Crashing threw the trees. And the occasional rip rap

I can't wait to get one of these. That spot lock has been at the top of my wish list for a while but I couldn't bring myself to but the older models with that jickey mounting bracket. I told momma to go pick herself out something nice cause daddy's about to hit the digits on the old American Express.

Wish they would have came out with an improved bracket. The brackets on them are pretty awful, IMO
