Headed out here in a few to try my luck at some catsfishing. looking for a report or some direction. I'm thinking either duck cover area or down south by holiday. Whats everyones thoughts? I plan on catching about 2 dozen perch from a pond before heading out will likely dice them up into bite sized chunks. thanks in advance!

Lots of spots at the city park in west tawakoni. Saw a couple of nice stringers on a walk this evening
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

I've seen good fish come from the bank at Wind Point Park.. There is good bank to fish around the boat ramp on the main point..

I'll try a few different spots this weekend and share my findings.

Late reply, I've gotten busy. I caught 1 3ft gar friday night at the public ramp by holiday. Caught a butt ton of shad at the river in one cast and fish there for about 30 mins without success. I seen a few get pulled in on chicken liver in aobut 4 fow but just little dinks. Maybe I'm casting too far or trying to hard... oh well thats why its called fishing and not catching.
