Having a hard time when it gets dark on me and the darn lights in the boat storage stall won't come on. I have a 22 ft. center console bay boat that I would like to install LED lights on the trailer to help me out. My question is how to go about it and is it even possible. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hey there! Yes, I had a similar issue. Loading the boat on the trailer at night was tough at dark and backing into the garage at times was difficult.

I installed LEDs on my trailer that turn on when I put the truck in reverse. The LEDs on the trailer help a little with backing but not enough to light the garage.

If you have electricity in the storage unit, I would try to wire a few lights in the stall that would turn on when needed.

Bluewaterled.com will have what you need.

I had a spot type light on one trailer, wired to the backup lights. Very handy. Google "trailer back up lights". Lots of suggestions such as these:

I want to thank you both for the response and it is greatly appreciated. I will certainly look into all options. Wish you both great fishing and safe water conditions.

Back up lights are easy if you have a 7 pin on your current truck. If not any U haul could install a 7 pin connector (similar for pulling a travel trailer) and then wire in a trailer wire set on the trailer. They have some big rectangular / oval ones that put out enough light to keep you out of trouble. They won't everything up but it's enough. I did mine and it's helpful. you could also mount some type of light bar in a way that you could flip it around and turn it on.

Did you do the rigging yourself or did you have it done at a U-Haul location. I sure thank you as well for the information.
