I am wanting to pick up another terrova or even an ulterra for my new boat...well, I might just have to wait now. Looks like Minn Kota is coming out with a cable steer trolling motor that will also have spot lock.

Thanks for explaining, Ive only had cable tm's and saw the ad a handful of times this past week and didn't understand it. I am also in the market and didnt want to buy something else if the new latest and greatest was right around the corner since I want a higher end minnkot awoth spot/contour lock and linked birds to go with it
