The foot pedal looks more traditional too.
I been pondering how to mount my terova on a traditional mount where it wont hang over the front of the boat when stowed. That's the only thing I would want to change about it really.

Finally!! They used the same mount as the Fortrex. Now it will be so much better than the one I have!

I tested one of these motors for Minn Kota and let me tell you it's the best trolling motor I've ever used in my 20 plus years in professional fishing. It definitely makes your day of fishing easier and helps you catch more fish with less effort. If you're serious about fishing you will definitely want to purchase one of these trolling motors.

Also, my partner David Fanning and I won one of those early tournaments that have on Welsh this year with 21.6 lbs because of this trolling motor. The winds were around 20 mph and I used the spot lock to hold us in the key areas to catch the fish. There's no doubt we wouldn't have caught them otherwise. The water was too deep for power poles and anchoring would have been a pain and in no was as effective.

I only wish that they would incorporate a DI/2D transducer into the motor to eliminate the need to zip tie the transducer cable up the shaft.
Tell us Gary, can you at least zip tie a transducer cable to the trolling motor shaft on this new model or will it be loose like the competitor motors?

Does it have two GPS antennas to allow the anchor feature to hold as good as the competitor motors? I ask this question as the crappie fisherman have been looking for a motor with anchor feature "spot lock" to hold them and keep them over the brush ect. The current i-Pilot works fine for the sand bass, hybrid and black bass fisherman as it wonders about but is horrible for crappie fishing. The MotorGuide Xi5 motor with anchor holds the crappie fisherman very well over there brush pile with no wondering.

Holding with-in 1-2 feet. It was strongly stated that it is the most accurate spot lock system "EVER" on the market today and If I am following this correctly it has the GPS antenna in the head unit as well as a External Heading Sensor GPS Antenna for two GPS antennas.... That is a bonus thumbs up!!!!

Sounding pretty darn good to me fellas...
