I got bored with channel cat fishing several years ago. Haven't targeted channels in long time.
You can catch channels in OakGrove Park areas- Catfish lane.....
I would put out range cubes in 2-3 areas and try them all? Stink corn or milo is better. Bait for a few nites in a row.

Try the old dam on Lewisville. Just past the toll bridge. Lots of shad and deep water. I have only fished whites, hybrids and buffalo. Haven't seriously tried for catfish yet. Lots of bank space and baitfish.

Oak grove or near Scott's is pretty good for catfish lately, it depends if you want Blue or Channel, Blue is harder now but Channel is everywhere and they love bread or livers.....
