I'm going to leave the survey open through Friday so people can add their data and get it on the giveaway but we've already had over 500 entries and that's more than enough to have a very accurate profile and survey sample of the bass section angler.

Here's our guy, let's call him Bob.

Bob is 50 and he fishes 6-10 days per month. He competes in local team tournament events mostly in Texas although he has occasionally traveled outside the state for a tournament event.

Bob makes over $100,000 a year and owns a Skeeter with the following: Minn Kota trolling motor, Lowrance electronics and doesn't have a shallow water anchor. He tows his Skeeter with a Ford. *The survey results still have Mercury as the leading motor across all brands so that should be noted here.

Bob's favorite rod is a Falcon and he's got a Shimano reel on it and his go to bait brand is Zoom. Bob is very active on social media with the two biggest platforms being Facebook and YouTube. Bob spends most of his time on Bassmaster.com and has attended a BASS event but for some reason he doesn't plan on attending the Classic in Texas. (Shocker lol)

Bob buys his bait and tackle at Tackle Warehouse, Cabelas and Bass Pro and he shops online regularly.

Bob hunts but doesn't saltwater fish.

There's a lot of great data here and once the survey is complete I'll share some additional details where applicable.

Bob makes a lot more money than me. He's also nearly twice my age.

So basically we discovered that the average guy on tff posting is retired and ought to be at the lake fishing off his new i class he towed with his new eco boost instead of sitting at home because its over 80* outside? roflmao

Bob is older than my dad... And his truck should have a bowtie... And spend time hunting instead of saltwater fishing...But otherwise fairly on point for both of us as well lol

Curious how the results on brand specifics would skew from one state/region to another. Cant wait to see full results published including our out of state members as I recall tff has a LOT. Hope they joined in the survey!

For the record, Bob's HOUSEHOLD income is between $100-150k.

Lol, if 50 is retirement then I like where I'm going to be in 4 years. Hoping for the sugar momma too!

There's not been enough national response at any level that would move the survey but I have tons of national data from our other surveys. Chevy leads the national bass scene for tow vehicle and Skeeter moves down to #3-#4 in most national data. Texas is a stronghold based on their presence here and their support of its largest tournament trail.

Pleasantly surprised to hear the chevy win at national level... I see so many wrapped tundras all the time lol

The skeeter drop is no surprise at all though, I knew that was front runner just because of region.

As per retirement age... The ages were ranges not specific dates, so figure its getting up there. And assuming anyone has been at that income level since late 20's like I am now, I damn well better be able to fish 24/7 by 50+ or I am doing something wrong! Hahaha... Then again if I spend 20 years donating for those guys with wrapped tundras to cash giant cardboard checks I suppose I may still have a day job to support my fishing habit...

It is also interesting that for this TFF survey, Toyota sits in third just barely above Dodge. That's a big deal and again due in part to their Texas presence and their very large support of the sport through sponsorships.
