Most likely still working on Room Blocks with Hotels and perks for the Organization. Everyone 'knew' it was going to be on the Red River if it was fishable last year, but they didn't 'announce' it until the last minute. Their website says they will make it 'official' in July. July is here, you're going to hear something real soon with full details on the host hotels/convention centers. I would guess a party somewhere in Louisiana at a casino.
Good Luck for anyone that qualified and actually plans to fish it!

I havent talked to anyone yet thats going. We are not if its on the Sabine. None of my friends we usually go with are going either. May not have been the best choice I am thinking.

I'm sure there are plenty of teams glad others are dropping out. Better chance at winning. Unfortunately you can't make everyone happy...

I'm sure there are plenty of teams glad others are dropping out. Better chance at winning. Unfortunately you can't make everyone happy... Truth, we decided not to go down there but it wasnt because of the venue. The dates seem to be right around extension dead line so i wouldnt even be able to prefish. Ill save the money and put it towards prefishing lakes for next year
