Wish I could be more of a help but from my experience on that lake is that that much wind will really limit where you can fish. Not to mention that lake is north/south oriented so going across the mainlake at all won't be fun.

I would launch at Mallard and fish that area. You can also fish the dam, it will protect you some from a South wind and there are piles along it.

I have cancelled my trips yesterday and tomorrow on Lavon due to the wind. There are places to fish but you are really limited. Mallard would be safe and you can catch a few fish off the timber in that area. You can launch at Clear lake and fish submerged timber on each side of ramp. There has been fish holding along the dam in 15-20' water also. Lavon is tough with anything over 20 mph and I have the boat to handle it but it's not much fun.

Totally agree what Jerry. I have launched from lavonia south yesterday with no problem. Only caught 7. If you launch from mallard, watch out those timbers just under the surface. Good luck.

Fish that's funny, if you really want yes launch at Mallard. Put on life jack before fire n up, fish timber north from mallard, or if Lakeland is open try north from there, if you follow shoreline N.E of Lakeland theres a point youll see, go aroundit and you are protected from wind some what, fish standing timber, big cove over there also. Going back south to Mallard might be tough. Good luck.
