We use Thermocline - the smaller baits this time of year match the shad fry. cheers

Mr. Fry's in any shad color (like Black Emerald Shiner)
It doesn't look like it, but that is a pound and 3/4 crappie that we got a picture of.

Or slab bugs - They have the little arms and legs to add more movement/action
(This one is tore up from catching around 20+ crappie with about a dozen keepers)

Good fishing!
Good luck out there!

This is what they're supposed to look like. lol

Also, I think a pink jig head helps, but that's all personal preference.

Good luck!

Slab Bugs look good, I've never heard of them.

PK- Last time I fished Possum Kingdom I was wishing I was a bowfisherman. I have never seen so many carp in my life.

I've been doing quite well with black and chart and white and chart rocky tops.

I have been whacking them on the Mini Tadpole from Thermocline Lures, in Black Emerald Shiner and Ice Shad Lil Fry. I have been most successful with a pink head, but some days the orange has ruled!

I like my fishing like a whino likes his wine!
