Only one way to know for sure if it is crappie... But i'd definitely think so if I saw this on my down scan, looks like some timber with fish stacked 15-20 ish ft down, real tight to the tree though....

Hard to tell for sure but I would definitely drop a jig in there for good measure.It`s been my experience that the Crappie will appear as little grains of rice or snow flakes and hang tight to the structure on the down scan but I haven't seen them make an arch on the 2D sonar only larger fish so there could be crappie mixed with bass. 2cents

The symbols right on the structure probably are crappie, but the ones to the right of the structure are probably not. Like others before this post indicate - only way to know is to catch'en and see! 2cents

I'd say that is probably a school of yellow bass, or very small crappie. Larger crappie usually give you a harder return on the 2D.

thank yall for the input. unfortunately i couldnt drop a jig and see. my trollin motor is broke and didnt wanna fool with anchor in 50,000 mph wind. thanks again
