Well, Lewisville it is.
We are relocating to Lewisville next month, so I'm going to have to learn some new water. It looks like we will be living really close to Pier 121. So who knows Lewisville and Grapevine well? I may need someone to tag along in my boat and give me a tour. Mainly need to learn the hazards to avoid.
Also, if anyone has any input on High Schools in Lewisvile ISD, please shoot me a PM.
Gonna miss all my East Texas lakes, but anxious to learn some new ones. thumb

Blue Nitro lives in Lewisville. I can show you around Grapevine, but he knows Lewisville better than me.

Grapevine is still close to 10 feet high. Maybe it will be ready when you get here.

Eric, we will need to get together. I launch majority of the time out of Pier 121.

Oh yeah. This guy knows a thing or two about both lakes also.

Heck Ernest Paty or Guy Skinner would be gooduns and I think you know them both, David at Shutupandfish fishes it all the time and Ron aka Blue Nitro and Dutch and Hogon certainly know it too. I used to know it and loved it. It's an early morning lake due to the jet fleas and lake lice arriving around noon.

Give me a shout when you get relocated Eric. I use to guide on both Grapevine and Lewisville. As for high schools....there are several and depends on where you live. PM me on where you're gonna be living and I'll tell you where the schools are. Oh, and the 2# black crappie are doing quite well on Lewisville right now bolt

Me too, I need someone to fish with anyway. (My OLD partner is getting worn out in places) I keep my boat at Pier 121.

Hebron High in N Carrollton is good and is in LISD.

Thanks for the offers fellas!
It may be a while before we get moved in, but we will literally be right around the corner from Pier 121.
I'll shoot you guys some PMs when I get up there.

Give me a shout when you get settled in. You need to know where the big stumps that lay just under the water line when the lake is a few feet low. They are out there in what seems to be open water and I cringe every time I see a boat hauling through there and have warned many, especially when they are pulling kids through the stump fields in inner tubes.

My wife also works for LISD so I can get some info on the schools.

Welcome to Lewisville Eric and Family.

I live 20 minutes from Lewisville, but find myself on Tawokini and Fork most of the time.

Plenty of Crappie in Lewisville "IF" you can find them.

After some of Cody Tucker's post on Ray Roberts I may need to make some trips up there in the near future.

Welcome to the area though!

Just tell me how deep to drop and when there's slack in the line!!! cheers

I just don't wanna tear anything up! I'm more excited about Palestine the weekend before than Lewisville. We might just go fish a bridge somewhere and have fun with it!! I'm not a fan of big city fishing!!! roflmao
