After not fishing on Monday. I just had to get out this morning. Got soaked by a small storm. Winds got a little high about noon. Wasn't a great day but it was good. Again the best colors were anything with purple and anything with blue. Can't wait to get my new jigs from Jerry's Jigs! Great guy and great jigs!

Got a couple more days on Palestine so we'll see what I can do.

Nice. I'll take cloudy and rainy over burning hot any day.

Just like rbradley said, purple's & blue's are working, especially matched with chartreuse. Brushpiles in 20-25 fow are often holding the better fish. Timber too. Fish over the top of the piles, around 12-15 ft deep. Same with timber, find the tallest trees and fish right along side the wood, 12-15 ft deep. Also, there's usually an early bite on the bridges. The 2 in Ledbetter are usually good. Hope this helps and welcome to the forum.
