I live in South East Texas and would like to know if there's anywhere to bank fish some ponds/lakes in the Golden Triangle or Houston area

That's a large area to be asking about. the answer is yes. You may want to narrow it down a bit.

Okay well I'll start with just the Beaumont, Vidor, Port Arthur, Groves, Port Neches, Winnie, Baytown area.

I have looked for a long time on my own and found ZERO promise for bank fishing for bass.

When I said Houston I meant more near me I'm not driving more then 2 hours from Nederland for bass, might as well go to lake.
