Super clear water, when we stay in Leakey, I take an ultralight and a small water box with small poppers and minnow imitations, never catch anything big, but you can see them coming!!

Just got back from the dry frio. After the rain the last 2 years it's even flowing good. Caught over 100 up to 3lbs in 3 days. Mostly on speed craws and topwaters. I'm sure the frio is just as good if you can avoid the crowds.

Spinning rod, light line and a jig head with a 3"-4" Curley tailed grub. Any color.....as long as its chartreuse! Top water? Clear Heddon Tiny Torpedo. Enjoy!
