Not sure how or if you even can post pics from an iPhone.
My wife, 4 yr old daughter, 7 year old and mysel have all 4 caught our first "legal sized hybrid & stripers here at Tawakoni. Tons of 17" fish & LOT of keepers.
will try again later to post pics $!!

Always fun when the entire family can get in on the action!! Fishing is an activity that if done right will become a lifelong enjoyment. Not to mention, no matter what age you are, every time you hook up a fish, it is ok to giggle like a little kid!

Is boat ramp by the 2 mile bridge off 276 open? I haven't fished Tawakoni in a couple years. I know they are doing construction over there for new bridge so just wondering if ramp was still accessible.

+1, big if if the wind is up. Not a fun ride if fishing on south side.

If it is windy, it is well worth the drive to State Park or Holiday Marina to put in and save yourself the beating of heading S/SE into a hard wind.

Thanks for info!! Too windy to go today, although I know my Champion can handle it, just don't want to mess with it. going to see what weather is like in the AM.

MANNNN I absolutely LOVE the fishery that Tawakoni offers !!
Extremely jealous of you locals lol

Not many places that you can catch channel cats, blue cats, mag whites, hybrids of all sizes and stripers of all sixes ALL while spot locked on one spot !!
