Nice but the video ended too soon. I would have liked to see you measure and weigh the fish before releasing it on video to watch it swim away. I agree usually i try and get video of this just didnt have it for this one

I noticed something interested.. in the seconds preceding the strike, your fingers slipped off your reel as you turned your attention elsewhere, and it was in that pause you got bit.
Did you notice this? I was pausing the bait here and there while the crank was digging the bottom in the strike zone. That slip could of helped though and made the pause longer. Most of our fish were caught when you reel the crank supper fast and just dug bottom hard. After i caught 5 or 6 on that one crank i let my buddy use it. He had never thrown a big crank and since that was best color i wanted him to get a feel for using it. He caught 4 or 5 2-3lbers with it off camera.

What was cool is that he was the one to figure out that when he reeled the crank in supper fast he got bit more. I love seeing guys try out new techniques and get the hang of it by experimenting on their own.

Yep they are short. Probably my favorite pair though, I have had some good days in them.

Yep they are short. Probably my favorite pair though, I have had some good days in them. Im going to buy you a pair of shorts before your fishing in my boat! Lol
