First of all, I apologize...I meant to and thought I had posted this in plugs and announcements.
It's true there's nothing new under the sun, but cigar shaped plugs have been around long before name brand lures...the thing that makes this different is they are handmade and hand painted wooden lures. There is a difference and the fish respond to these far better than any other top water lure I have ever used. The point of the contest is to test this lure to the limit and see what it can do.
Thank you

I been fishin a sniper lure a good bit. They walk the dog similar to a spook but are less buoyant and have a different action than a spook.
I've been able to draw a lot of strikes with them and have had a lot of fish swirl at them too.
Have had some bigguns blow up on them, even in the middle of the day when it seems almost unlikely to get bit on a topwater.
They will definetly catch fish.

I am also part of the contest and I have had good luck on Lake Alan Henry. The spots chase themselves silly to get to it, it seems. Only 1 of any size, but I keep throwing it. Hopefully, I can tie into one of those doube digits with it and win teh contest. LOL. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

here's three fish caught on a sniper lure at 3:00 PM today with the sun bearing down and hot as all git out. Found an old overgrown pond in the back corner of the property where we was working and had to try it out when we quit working for the day.
