Friday, 7-1-16, Belinda and I hit the lake @ dawn again.
I put the 1st one in the box and before I could drop again, Belinda swung a pretty slab over the side of the boat clap

We hit some more summer spots that I hadn't checked yet and some were good, others were bare hmmm

We were fishing a large submerged stump that has 3 big limbs coming off it and a small bp under the largest.
Belinda was holding her own till she missed a what she claimed was a solid fish bang
I instantly got a solid thump clap

Although she did catch a few more, missing the fish and me catching it got in her head realmad

I steadily put fish in the box while she missed bites.
I didn't rub it in too much....well, maybe I did roflmao

We quit at noon with 29 in the box, grabbed another bag of ice and immediately ran to Brain Toliver Ford in Quitman.
While going to the gym, Belinda had spotted an 08' Tundra Limited that she was interested in.
We ended up making a great trade, FJ Cruiser is now gone and drove home with a new to us tow vehicle

Now what I haven't mentioned is that Belinda had been giving me the "Cold Shoulder" treatment since we loaded the boat hmmm

While cleaning the fish, Belinda told me she was mad at herself for missing the fish and for letting it affect the rest of her day
And that she was sorry for taking it out on me......
I LOVE this woman wink

All fish were caught on Tadpoles with the Purple Passion on an orange head working the best cheers

Got Santa Anna Winds forecast for the next week OMG bang

That Tundra will get the job done.
WTG on the fish.
I was thinking about headed your way this week, but the wind forecast is not good.

clap

That Tundra was a good choice. Much better towing and braking, and all around stability.

LOL, If she gets that upset at crappie fishin'...well, just make sure your tadpole don't stray!
