Several Salt water fish jump in the surf but, Mullet are among the more prevalent fish in shallow waters. They range from from finger mullet 3" roughly to 14" or so. They're Silver with horizontal black stripes.

Hope this helps!

baby shark which means larger sharks are nearby.

Few men ever reach, in any one direction, the limits of their possibilities. As in commerce, so here, the relation of supply to demand rules. Our mechanical and intellectual forces increase or decrease according to the demands made upon them. He who uses most will have most to use.

It's fish trying to escape Jaws! Really it's a Mullet. While wade fishing, I have had them hit me.

Yep... you might catch ... the shark that's chasing it ;-) JK...

You can catch a lot of things on cut mullet. Redfish love them, but there might be some by catch from sharks and snot sharks.

If they fly out of the water all stiff and straight looking like a torpedo they are mullet.

It's a farting fish. When they fart they propel themselves forward with so much speed they literally leap out of the water from the extra propulsion. Thought everyone knew that. Geesh.
